Equity Values Spotlight: Heather Brings an A-Game to Boston

Every year, Equity Residential recognizes outstanding results and/or leadership in demonstrating our values with the . Highlighting individuals who promote Diversity & Inclusion, Social Responsibility, Sustainability and Total Wellbeing, winners were announced Tuesday, November 26th.  

Champions consistently demonstrated passion and commitment over the last year and were willing to take risks, recommend creative and practical solutions, encourage positive change in their colleagues and see opportunities where others see obstacles. 

Heather is one of this year’s recipients, and a positive force for change in her town of Boston, Massachusetts. Described as the “glue” that holds together the local team, Heather keeps everyone on track with a robust volunteer calendar, weekly calls, and even helps manage and plan events. Boston-area Equity employees are often involved in Christopher Haven Dinners, the Walk for Hunger, and various collection drives because of her efforts. 

As colleague and frequent collaborator, Natasha says, “Heather consistently supports in Boston while also spearheading new activities and awareness around our benefits and our values.”
